Latricia Taylor was born and raised in Syracuse, NY and currently resides in Jacksonvill, FL.  She is the CEO of the Chasity Taylor Foundation, Inc., Author of A Mother’s Love/A Mother’s Pain, From Pain to Purpose Journal, and Co-Author of Dear Daddy: A letter from a Successful Business Woman.  She obtained a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from Jones College and a Masters of Science in Administration of Justice and Security from the University of Phoenix. In addition, she completed all coursework minus dissertation in the doctoral degree program of Management in Organizational Leadership.  Latricia is working to complete what she started and thats to complete her doctoral journey.  


Latricia has 20+ years experience in Business and Heath Insurance, and 5+ years in the legal field. Latricia's first book "A Mother's Love / A Mother's Pain was written as her memoir, where she shares her personal journey as a mother as well as a mother who has dealt with pain from the loss of her daughter at an early age.  Her writings and journey was shared with hopes to empower young ladies and women who may have dealt with a similar situation and didn't think they were able to get through it.  Latricia stands to say with the help of God and a strong support system you too can Turn Pain to Purpose. 


 Latricia has been featured in digital published magazines, on radio shows and podcast, as well as contributor writer for several magazines and blogs.  She was honored to receive the 2019 ACHI Magazine Philanthropist Award. Latricia has spoken at various women conferences as well as featured/guest speaker for various other events.    Latricia plans to continue to take opportunities to speak to women and young ladies all over the U.S. and one day branch out to become an International speaker.  Latricia wants to continue sharing her story and empower women like her and young ladies who look up to women like her.

Latricia has helped various small business owners start and enhance their business through sharing her business experiences and knowledge.  As the Founder and CEO of her Foundation, Latricia and her team has provided assistance to over 1000+ under-served youth and families in the community through their programs in a short time span.  In addition, her Foundation has feed the homeless, volunteered with Habijax, and participate in the annual "Walk Like MADD" through M.A.D.D (Mother's Against Drunk Driving).  Through her giving back Latricia stepped in to an Author's role looking to share her experiences to continue to encourage and motivate others.  Latricia's writing career began after enduring the tragic loss of her daughter who was killed in a DWI/DUI accident.  She was encouraged to journal her thoughts and feelings to assist with the grieving process.  It was hard to get started but every word written became a step forward towards her healing.  After three years of journal notes Latricia was encourage to place them in book form and her first book was born.  Because she stepped out on faith she is now a 3x Author. 


Prior to Latricia owned and operated several businesses one was an online Jewelry business "Lady T’s Elegant Boutique" and the other was an Organization called "DIVAS on the Move".  Latricia also volunteered through her job to support other causes for many years (i.e. Breast Cancer, Diabetes, & more).  She has also, provided consultant services for two local car clubs in Jacksonville and a few local business owners. 

 Therefore, with her knowledge and hands on experience in the author and entrepreneur arena.  Latricia is able to share what she knows with others aspiring to get started in business or tell their story.  Remember even a book is a business.
