Meet Latricia

Latricia N. Taylor, is a wife, mother, grandmother and a Serial Entrepreneur with 10+ years experience in business and owns and operates 3 small businesses. In addition, Latricia is CEO/Founder of The Chasity Taylor Foundation, which is her pride and joy. Through her Foundation, Latricia and her team are making great positive impacts in their community.

Latricia is an Author with several self- published books. She also has articles published in online magazines such as Sheen as well. Latricia operates a Consulting business “Back 2 Business Consulting” where she has assisted several new entrepreneurs start and revamp their business as well as provides book and business coaching and consultation.

Latricia was recognized with the following awards: 2019 ACHI Philanthropist of the Year, 2020 Fearless Woman, 2020 Game Changer, and nominated for a 2020 Community Impact Leader award. Latricia has been featured in the online magazine VoyageATL, UrbanCEO Magazine & on Local Radio, TV & Podcast shows including Podcast in London.

Latricia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in paralegal studies from Jones College, a Master’s of Science degree in Administrative Justice & Security from University of Phoenix. Latricia is currently working on her dissertation for her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership & Management also, from University of Phoenix. Latricia is a member of the National Society of Leadership & Success & National Coalition of 100 Black Women - Greater Jacksonville.

Experience

Latricia has helped various small business owners start and enhance their business through sharing her business experiences and knowledge. She was able to provide consultant as well as business coaching to aspiring entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs.

As the Founder and CEO of her Foundation, Latricia and her team has provided assistance to 2,000 + under-served youth and families in the community through their programs in the past six years. In addition, her Foundation has feed the homeless, volunteered with Habijax, and participate in the annual "Walk Like MADD" through M.A.D.D (Mother's Against Drunk Driving) just to name a few. Through her giving back Latricia stepped in to an Author's role looking to share her experiences to continue to encourage and motivate others. Latricia's writing career began after enduring the tragic loss of her daughter who was killed in a DWI/DUI accident. She was encouraged to journal her thoughts and feelings to assist with the grieving process. It was hard to get started but every word written became a step forward towards her healing. After three years of journal notes Latricia was encourage to place them in book form and her first book was born. Because she stepped out on faith she is now a 3x Author.

Prior to Latricia owned and operated several businesses one was an online Jewelry business "Lady T’s Elegant Boutique" and the other was an Organization called "DIVAS on the Move". Latricia also volunteered through her corporate job to support other causes for many years (i.e. Breast Cancer, Diabetes, & more).

Therefore, with her knowledge and hands on experience in the author and entrepreneur arena. Latricia is able to share what she knows with others aspiring to get started in business or tell their story. Remember even a book is a business.
